Abstract:
Provided in the present invention are a kiln sintering system and method for cathode material of lithium ion batteries. The kiln sintering system for cathode material of lithium ion batteries comprises a kiln body, saggers, an external circulation conveying line, a sagger-loading device, a lifting combination device and a sagger-unloading and separation device, wherein the kiln body is provided with a material-conveying inlet and a material-conveying outlet, the kiln body is provided with a conveying mechanism, and two ends of the conveying mechanism extend to at least the material-conveying inlet and the material-conveying outlet respectively; each sagger is provided with a loading trough; the external circulation conveying line is arranged at the top of the kiln body and used for conveying and moving the saggers, and the external circulation conveying line is sequentially provided with a loading zone and a vibration-flattening and dividing zone in a conveying direction; and the sagger-loading device is used for loading, in the loading zone, the loading troughs with material to be sintered. Therefore, in the kiln sintering process of cathode material, the saggers are circulated in a three-dimensional space, and the number of saggers is reduced, such that the use cost of the saggers is reduced, and the sagger processing amount of each section in the circulation process is relatively small.
