Abstract:
A large-diameter ultra-long HDPE pipe closure method. After welding of a pipe and an expansion joint is completed on a construction platform, the pipe enters water, and the expansion joint is pulled and stretched by means of a chain block to fit a pipe opening to complete pipe closure installation. By means of the method, accurate butt joint of the pipe opening can be achieved, and the consistency and aesthetics of pipe material and shape can be ensured. Moreover, the method requires less manpower and material resources, thereby ensuring low production cost and high operability.
