Abstract:
Provided is a laser recording device including: laser recording unit configured to irradiate thermosensitive recording medium with laser light based on position information of image data on the medium to record image on the medium; and control unit configured to vary laser light irradiation energy during laser irradiation according to image luminance information included in image data and change amount Z of supply current to be supplied to laser light source in order to actually record one unit pixel E0 according to Z=Y0-[(P×Y1)+(Q×Y2)+(R×Y3)], where Y1, Y2, and Y3 are set amounts of currents set for first adjacent unit pixel E1, second adjacent unit pixel E2, and third adjacent unit pixel E3 with respect to the one unit pixel E0.
