Abstract:
The present invention relates to a laundry processing device comprising: a cabinet; a drum accommodated in the cabinet so as to accommodate laundry; a driving unit disposed to rotate the drum; a control unit which controls the driving unit to rotate the drum, thereby detecting the amount of the laundry, or provides commands to perform predetermined courses for processing the laundry; a course selection unit disposed to receive a selection command to select one course from among the predetermined courses; an execution unit disposed to receive an execution command to perform the selected course; and a display unit disposed to display at least one of information about the detected amount of the laundry and information about the selected course. The display unit is configured to display the detected amount of laundry by using an icon or a pictogram before the execution unit receives the execution command, and thus has a function of providing the information about the amount of the laundry and course information associated with the amount of the laundry through detection of the amount of the laundry before the start of the course.
