Abstract:
This learning device (23) comprises: a data acquisition unit (231) that acquires training data, including machining object information that includes information pertaining to a desired machining component and information pertaining to an electrode used in an electric discharge machining apparatus, machining conditions used when the object being machined is subjected to profile electric discharge machining to form the desired machining component, and the value of an evaluation index indicating the machining surface quality of a machining surface of the object being machined that is subjected to profile electric discharge machining under the machining conditions; and a model generation unit (232) that generates a trained model for inferring machining conditions under which the machining surface quality of the machining surface will improve, the trained model being generated from the machining object information using the training data.
