Abstract:
Provided is an LED light emitting device having improved reliability. This LED light emitting device comprises: a base; a mounting substrate including a reflective layer and a multilayer reflective film stacked on the reflective layer, the reflective layer containing silver and being stacked on the base; an LED die emitting blue light and mounted in a light emitting region on the mounting substrate; a sealing resin containing phosphor particles and sealing the LED die and a surface of the mounting substrate in the light emitting region; and a DBR layer disposed on a lower surface of the LED die and blocking at least some of the blue light emitted from the LED die. The multilayer reflective film includes a TiO2 layer and a SiO2 layer. The DBR layer is a layer in which a plurality of sets of dielectric bodies each composed of a high refractive index layer and a low refractive index layer are stacked. The phosphor particles are settled in the sealing resin and form a phosphor layer covering a part of the sides of the LED die and a part of the surface of the multilayer reflective film in the light emitting region.
