Abstract:
An LED light source is provided with a substrate (10) having a main plane (10a), at least one LED element (12) being supported on the main plane (10a) of the substrate (10), an opening having a reflecting plane (14) which surrounds a side plane of the LED element (12), a reflecting board (16) being supported on the main plane (10a) of the substrate (10), and a sealing resin layer (18) covering the LED element (12) and the reflecting board (16). As for the sealing resin layer (18), Dh/Dw is 1.2 or more but not more than 1.8, where, Dw is a thickness of the layer part covering a side plane (16w) of the reflecting board (16), and Dh is a thickness of the layer part covering an upper plane (16h) of the reflecting board.
