Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a length-measuring apparatus in which it is possible to significantly change the height of a length measurement position. [Solution] This length-measuring apparatus 1 comprises a base platform 2 having a slide rail 40, and a sliding part 5 having a length-measuring instrument 80 installed so as to freely slide on the slide rail 40. The base platform 2 is provided with a base part 15, a table 10 on which the slide rail 40 is installed, and a table-height-adjusting column member 20 for supporting the table 10 and linking the table 10 to the base part 15 in a manner that allows for adjustment of height. The table-height-adjusting column member 20 is provided with: a lower-side column 26 secured to the base-part 15 side; an upper-side column 21 secured to the table 10 side, the upper-side column 21 being configured so as to be capable of sliding vertically relative to the lower-side column 26; and a column support/linkage member 30 having a load pin 31 installed horizontally in a selective manner at any of a plurality of height positions on one of the columns 21, 26, and a recess groove 22 installed in the other of the columns 21, 26, the load pin 31 advancing into the recess groove 22 during linking.
