Abstract:
The present invention relates to a lens device, a control method, and an imaging system with which it is possible to improve the accuracy of zoom tracking. A lens device according to one aspect of the present invention calculates an instructed trajectory (L2, L12), which is the positional trajectory of a zoom lens at each point in time after a start timing (t31) of a control period of the zoom lens, on the basis of a target position (L1, L11) indicated by an instructed value acquired before the start timing, and when the start timing is reached, driving of a first actuator is controlled on the basis of the instructed trajectory. The control unit performs the calculation of a zoom tracking process after the start timing on the basis of a predicted position (P11, P12) of the zoom lens obtained from the instructed trajectory. The present invention can be applied to a lens device of a lens interchangeable-type camera.
