Abstract:
A light beam optical axis self-stabilizing device and method based on reflection type mechanical modulation. The device comprises a polarization beam splitter (2), a 1/4 wave plate (3), a structure reflection element (4), and a driving source (5); the 1/4 wave plate (3) is located at an exit end of the polarization beam splitter (2), the structure reflection element (4) is located on the side of the 1/4 wave plate (3) away from the polarization beam splitter (2), and the driving source (5) drives the structure reflection element (4) to rotate at a uniform speed by taking an optical axis as an axis; incident light passes through the polarization beam splitter (2) to form a split beam of light, the split beam of light passes through the 1/4 wave plate (3) to be incident to the structure reflection element (4), the structure reflection element (4) rotates to enable the phase of reflected light to change with time, and the reflected light is modulated via the 1/4 wave plate (3) and transmitted out of the polarization beam splitter (2), thereby obtaining a target light beam. The focal spot centroid of the obtained light beam is stable, the directivity of the light beam is consistent, and moreover, the light beam has high focusable power and high energy concentration.
