Abstract:
A light detection device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with: a first photoelectric conversion unit that performs photoelectric conversion of a wavelength component of a visible light region; a second photoelectric conversion unit that is stacked on the first photoelectric conversion unit and performs photoelectric conversion of a wavelength component of a near-infrared region; and a first wiring layer that is provided between the first photoelectric conversion unit and the second photoelectric conversion unit, and includes one or a plurality of wires that are used to read charge generated by the photoelectric conversion in the first photoelectric conversion unit, the plurality of wires being formed from a material transmissive to a wavelength component of a longer wavelength region than the visible light region.
