Abstract:
[Problem] Gradation information is acquired and an event is detected without increasing a circuit area. [Solution] A light detection device comprises a first substrate and a second substrate stacked on each other. The first substrate has a pixel group including a first pixel that generates a pixel signal according to the amount of incident light and a second pixel that detects a change in brightness of the incident light. The second substrate has an event detection circuit that detects an event based on a change in brightness of the second pixel, in which at least a portion of the event detection circuit is disposed in a region other than a region of the same size facing the pixel group on the second substrate.
