Abstract:
A light diffusion sheet 43 includes a polycarbonate resin that includes a first structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound represented by formula (1). The light diffusion sheet 43 includes, on at least a first surface 43a, a plurality of recessed sections 22 each formed into a substantially inverted- polygonal-pyramid shape or a substantially inverted-truncated-polygonal-pyramid shape. Ridge lines 23 that demarcate the plurality of recessed sections 22 each have a shape that is recessed between intersection points 23a of the ridge lines 23, with respect to a straight line joining said intersection points 23a. Where an arrangement pitch of the plurality of recessed sections 22 is P, and a dimension accounted for by a curved portion of a peak section of a ridge line 23 in the direction of arrangement of the plurality of recessed sections 22 is Wr, the ratio Wr/P is 0.3 or less. A maximum height difference d between a straight line joining the intersection points 23a of the ridge lines 23 and the ridge line 23 is 1 to 10 μm.
