Abstract:
A light distribution control device 6 provides a light distribution pattern PTN having a dimmed part that overlaps with a dimmed object present in an area in front of a vehicle. The light distribution control device 6 applies an expansion process, using a structural element having a predetermined shape, to light spots contained in an image IMG obtained by imaging the front area to generate an expanded area, and provides the dimmed part on the basis of the expanded area. The light distribution control device 6 changes at least one of the size of the structural element and the position of a pixel of interest in the structural element in accordance with at least one of the speed of the vehicle and the turning angular speed of the vehicle.
