Abstract:
Provided is a light emission member which is capable of improving reliability by inhibiting short circuiting. This light emission member (2) is provided with: a substrate (10); an anode electrode (31) which is provided on the substrate (10); a functional layer (32) which is capable of emitting light, and which is provided on the anode electrode (31); and a cathode electrode (33) which is provided on the functional layer (32). The functional layer (32) is provided with an insulation part (32a) for inhibiting short circuiting of the anode electrode (31) and the cathode electrode (33).
