Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a production method by which ferric citrate hydrate having various specific surface areas is efficiently obtained with high purity. The present invention provides a method for producing a modified ferric citrate hydrate, which comprises a step 1 wherein a water-soluble organic solvent and a solution that contains water, citric acid and ferric citrate serving as a starting material are brought into contact with each other.
