Abstract:
A light emitting chip (10) and a laser, relating to the technical field of opto-electronics. The light emitting chip (10) comprises a first electrode (101), a chip body (102), an insulation layer (103), and a second electrode (104) which are sequentially stacked in a first direction. The chip body (102) at least comprises a first confinement layer (1021), an active layer (1023), and a second confinement layer (1025) which are sequentially stacked in the first direction. The chip body (102) is divided into a light emitting part (F1) and non-light emitting parts (F2). The orthographic projection of the light emitting part (F1) on the first electrode (101) overlaps the orthographic projection of a light emitting region in the active layer (1023). The orthographic projection of each non-light emitting part (F2) overlaps the orthographic projection of a non-light emitting region in the active layer (1023). The side of each non-light emitting part (F2) close to the second electrode (104) is provided with a trench (C), and the trench (C) is located on the end of the non-light emitting part (F2) close to the light emitting part (F1). The direction in which the trench (C) extends intersects with the direction in which the light emitting part (F1) and the non-light emitting parts (F2) are arranged. The depth direction of the trench (C) is parallel to the first direction.
