Abstract:
A light-emitting device that is to be installed on a vehicle that can change the degree to which a driver participates in monitoring the surroundings during travel. A light-emitting unit (11) is configured to be positioned within a fixation stability field of view (A2) for the driver when an information display device (22) that is arranged to the side of a steering device of the vehicle is positioned within an effective field of view (A1) for the driver. The light-emitting unit (11) emits light in a manner that corresponds to the degree to which the driver is participating in monitoring the surroundings during travel.
