Abstract:
In this light-emitting device, a pixel comprising a light-emitting element and a plurality of transistors for operating the light-emitting element is disposed on a substrate, the plurality of transistors including a first transistor having a source region or a drain region connected to the light-emitting element, and a second transistor having a source region and a drain region that are not connected to the light-emitting element. A first silicide is disposed in a first diffusion region that functions as the source region or the drain region of the first transistor, and a second silicide is disposed in a second diffusion region that functions as the source region or the drain region of the second transistor. The coefficient of diffusion of a metal included in the first silicide into silicon is smaller than the coefficient of diffusion of a metal included in the second silicide into silicon.
