Abstract:
Disclosed is a light-emitting device comprising a substrate that has the front surface on which a semiconductor light-emitting element is mounted. The light-emitting device also comprises a front cover which is arranged on the front surface-side of the substrate, while being in thermal contact with the front surface of the substrate around the semiconductor light-emitting element. The heat dissipation performance at the front surface of the light-emitting device is improved by forming a heat conduction path wherein the heat generated by the semiconductor light-emitting element is sequentially conducted to the substrate and to the front cover and then dissipated from the front surface of the front cover.
