In each of multiple pixels, a light-emitting layer (4) of this light-emitting device (1) has a light-emitting region (5) through which a drive current flows between a first electrode (2) and a second electrode (3), and non-light-emitting regions (6) through which the drive current does not flow between the first electrode (2) and the second electrode (3), wherein, in planar view, the light-emitting region (5) is divided into multiple parts by the non-light-emitting regions (6).
