Abstract:
Provided is a light-emitting device that makes it possible to improve light emission efficiency. The light-emitting device includes a substrate, a light source, and a plurality of columnar sections provided to the substrate, said columnar sections comprising a first fluorescent material that uses the light emitted from the light source to emit light. The light source irradiates the columnar sections with light obliquely.
