Abstract:
A light emitting diode element is provided with a photoelectric conversion material board and a semiconductor layer formed on the photoelectric conversion material board. The photoelectric conversion material board is composed of a coagulated body formed by continuous and three-dimensional combination of at least two oxide phases selected from single metal oxides and composite metal oxides. At least one of the oxide phases in the coagulated body contains a metal element oxide which emits fluorescence, and the semiconductor layer is composed of a plurality of composite semiconductor layers and is provided with at least a light emitting layer which emits visible light. The board for light emitting diode for forming semiconductor is provided for forming an excellent semiconductor layer which exhibits excellent crystal structural matching with a semiconductor for forming the light emitting diode and has less defects, for emitting excellent efficient light from a light emitting layer formed in the semiconductor layer, emitting uniform fluorescence by light from the light emitting layer in the semiconductor layer and for efficiently taking out light. The light emitting diode element which uses such board and has no color unevenness is also provided.
