Abstract:
A light-emitting element comprising a quantum dot layer (Em) that is positioned between an anode and a cathode and contains first quantum dots (QD1) and second quantum dots (QD2), wherein the quantum dot layer (Em) contains an inorganic matrix material (Mx) which fills the spaces between the first quantum dots (QD1) and the second quantum dots (QD2) and in which at least a part (P1) of each portion contacting a first quantum dot (QD1) is amorphous.
