Abstract:
This invention provides a light emitting sign that enables fine and complex design expression and enables an illumination presentation with no light irregularities. A light emitting sign 1 comprises: a surface emission panel 2 that emits light from a front surface side; translucent three-dimensionally-shaped design blocks 6 to which light is projected from the surface emission panel 2; a first translucent panel 3 that covers the front surface side of the surface emission panel; a first light blocking sheet 4 which is disposed on the front surface side of the first translucent panel 3 and which has portions hollowed out following the shape of the design blocks 6; and a second translucent panel 5 which is disposed on the front surface side of the first light blocking sheet 4 and which has portions hollowed out following the shape of the design blocks 6. The design blocks 6 are fitted to the portions hollowed out of the second translucent panel 4, and protrude from the second translucent panel 5 toward the front surface side.
