Title:
LIGHT-EMITTING UNIT AND OPTICAL SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/243318
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In this optical sensor for sensing an object by receiving reflected light from the object with respect to irradiation light with which a sensing area is irradiated, a light-emitting unit (1) for providing irradiation light by light emission comprises: a resonance circuit unit (240) having an inductor (241) and a capacitor (242); a switching element (246) which has a reverse connection protection unit (247) and which switches charge and discharge of the capacitor (242); a strong light-emitting diode (22) which emits light by means of discharge current flowing from the resonance circuit unit (240) side in response to discharge of the capacitor (242); and a weak light-emitting diode (23) which is connected to the switching element (246) so as to be connected, in a reverse protection relationship, to the strong light-emitting diode (22) and which, following the end of light emission of the strong light-emitting diode (22), emits light with lower intensity than that of the strong light-emitting diode (22) by means of return current (Ir) flowing, at lower intensity than that of discharge current, to a reverse connection protection unit (247) side and the resonance circuit unit (240) side.
