Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a light-receiving element unit in which two light-receiving elements are overlapped for size reduction. [Solution] A light-receiving element unit (1, 101) is provided with: a first light-receiving element (10, 110) having a light-receiving region on a major surface side of a first semiconductor substrate; a second light-receiving element (20, 120) having a light-receiving region on a major surface side of a second semiconductor substrate; and a support substrate (2, 102) having wires for externally electrically connecting the first light-receiving element and the second light-receiving element. One of the first light-receiving element and the second light-receiving element has a recess (16, 126) formed in a concave shape from a back surface on the opposite side to the light-receiving region toward the light-receiving region side, and the other is accommodated in the recess.
