Abstract:
A light source comprises a semiconductor light-emitting element outputting light, a wavelength converting member receiving light emitted from the semiconductor light-emitting element and outputting light having a wavelength longer than that of the former light, and a wavelength selection member located between the semiconductor light-emitting element and the wavelength converting member and having wavelength characteristics that the reflectance and transmittance to the light varying depending on the wavelength of the light inputted.
