Abstract:
A light source system (10) and a projection device. The light source system (10) comprises a first light source (11) for emitting a first laser; a wavelength conversion device (13) comprising three primary color light areas and one mixed color light area; a driver device (19) for driving the wavelength conversion device (13) to move so as to allow the areas of the wavelength conversion device (13) to sequentially and periodically receive the first laser; a second light source (12) for emitting a supplementary light, the supplementary light being consistent in color with the light emitted by one of the primary color light areas; a control device (18) for controlling the turning on or off of the second light source (12), and, of every time period when the primary color light area of a same color is receiving the first laser, every time period when the mixed color light area is receiving the first laser, and some time periods when either primary color light area of a different color is receiving the first laser, the control device (18) controlling the second light source (12) to be turned on in at least two of the three. Thus acquired is the light source system (10) of a high luminous flux and high supplementary light source utilization rate.
