Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a lighting apparatus allowing reliability to be improved with respect to temperature. This lighting apparatus (1) comprises a light source unit (3), a lighting circuit (80), a detection circuit (13), and a control unit (85). The light source unit (3) has an LED module (31) and a case. The lighting circuit (80) causes the LED module (31) to light up. The detection circuit (13) includes a thermally sensitive element (RT) the electrical resistance value of which changes according to the temperature of the light source unit (3), the detected value therefrom changing according to the change in the electrical resistance value of the thermally sensitive element (RT). When a first threshold value corresponding to a first reference temperature is reached by the detected value from the detection circuit (13), the control unit (85) causes the light output of the LED module (31) to be reduced via the lighting circuit (80), and when a second threshold value corresponding to a second reference temperature that is a higher temperature than the first reference temperature is reached, the control unit (85) causes the LED module (31) to be turned off via the lighting circuit (80).
