Abstract:
A line beam scanning optical system (10) comprises: a laser light source (11a); a light deflector (15) having a mirror (15a); a slow-axis cylindrical lens (14) which concentrates laser light in a long-side direction of a line beam (B10) and causes the laser light to be incident on the mirror (15a); and a light guide (13) which is disposed between the laser light source (11a) and the slow-axis cylindrical lens (14) and on which laser light emitted from the laser light source (11a) is incident. The light guide (13) has two surfaces (13a, 13b) opposing in the long-side direction of the line beam (B10), reflects laser light at the two surfaces (13a, 13b), and, while trapping laser light inside the light guide (13), causes mixed laser light to be incident on the slow-axis cylindrical lens (14).
