Abstract:

A waste and molten material in a discharge electrode or its reaction product is adhered and deposited in the ball groove of a linear guide block incorporating a linear motion ball bearing by discharging energy generated by electric discharge machining, thereby forming a hard coating film of the waste and molten material and its reaction product on the ball groove.
