Abstract:

A linear motor (100), comprising a base (10), a sliding base (20) slidably connected to the base (10), a primary assembly (30), a secondary assembly (40), and a brush assembly (70). The primary assembly (30) and the brush assembly (70) are fixed on one of the sliding base (20) and the base (10), and the secondary assembly (40) is fixed on the other of the sliding base (20) and the base (10). The primary assembly (30) comprises at least one armature winding (32), and is used for producing a travelling wave magnetic field. The secondary assembly (40) is arranged opposite the primary assembly (30) at an interval, and the secondary assembly (40) comprises a plurality of excitation windings (42) arranged at intervals. The brush assembly (70) is used for electrically conducting the excitation windings (42) opposite the primary assembly (30) so as to produce an excitation magnetic field. The travelling wave magnetic field and the excitation magnetic field interact so as to push the sliding base (20) or the base (10) to slide along a sliding direction. Compared with the prior art, the excitation windings (42) are used instead of magnetic steel as the secondary, thereby reducing the production costs of the linear motor (100).
