Abstract:
The present invention relates to a liquefied-gas pipe coupling assembly, which seals the space between a coupling used when a pipe for liquefied gas having strong vaporability, including a refrigerant gas, is laid and a nipple connected to the pipe, so as to discharge remaining gas in one direction and, simultaneously, has a flange formed at the coupling, so as to protect the hands of a worker from the remaining gas left in the pipe during pipe dismantlement work. The present invention forms the liquefied-gas pipe coupling assembly having a snap ring coupling groove and an O-ring coupling groove formed on the outer peripheral surface of the front end of the nipple, having a snap ring coupling groove formed on the inner peripheral surface of the coupling, which is coupled to cover the outside of the nipple, so as to correspond to the snap ring coupling groove formed on the outer peripheral surface of the front end of the nipple, so that a snap ring is inserted therein and couples the nipple and the coupling in order to prevent the separation thereof, having an O-ring fitted into the O-ring coupling groove so as to seal the space between the nipple and the coupling, thereby preventing the liquefied gas from flowing between the nipple and the coupling, having at least one discharge groove, which is formed by horizontally cutting a coupling spiral protrusion formed on the inner peripheral surface of the front of the snap ring coupling groove of the coupling, so as to allow the liquefied gas that flows in when the nipple and the other pipe part are separated to flow out, and having a horn-shaped flange, which protrudes outward in an annular rim shape or is extended forward and outward and is integrally formed at the front end of the coupling so as to prevent the liquefied gas flowing out toward the front of the coupling from flowing toward the hand of a user operating the coupling.
