Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is to realize a high-contrast liquid crystal display device having a liquid crystal light bulb that suppresses light leakage between segment electrodes, and a specific configuration of the present invention is as follows. The liquid crystal display device in which a liquid crystal light bulb is disposed on the rear surface of a liquid crystal display panel is characterized in that a plurality of first electrodes 11 extending in a stripe shape in a first direction are formed on a first substrate 10 of the liquid crystal light bulb, a first insulation film is formed on the first electrodes 11, planar second electrodes 13 are formed on the first insulation film on a matrix shape at predetermined intervals, a second insulation film is formed on the second electrodes, a plurality of third electrodes 15 extending in a stripe shape in a second direction is formed on the second insulation film, a liquid crystal is sandwiched between the third electrodes 15 and the second substrate, the first electrodes 11, the second electrodes 13, and the third electrodes 15 are transparent oxide conductive films, and a predetermined distance between the second electrodes 13 is 2 μm to 10 μm.
