Abstract:

The present invention provides a liquid crystal display with which defects in quality can be reduced and the adhesion strength between substrates can be improved. This liquid crystal display is equipped with a first substrate, a second substrate, and a seal. The first substrate includes: a shift register formed monolithically on an insulation substrate; multiple bus lines; a first end part; and a display region. The shift register includes multiple unit circuits connected in multiple stages, and wiring connected to the multiple unit circuits, and is arranged in a region between the first end part and the display region. At least one of the unit circuits includes: a clock terminal; an output terminal; an output transistor; a second transistor; and a bootstrap condenser. The output transistor and the bootstrap condenser are arranged in a region between the first end part and the wiring or the second transistor.
