Abstract:
A liquid crystal element (100) comprises a first electrode (20), a first liquid crystal layer (40), a second electrode (50), a second liquid crystal layer (70), and a third electrode (80). The first electrode (20) is light-transparent. The first liquid crystal layer (40) contains a first polymer and a plurality of first liquid crystal molecules. The second electrode (50) is light-transparent. The second liquid crystal layer (70) contains a second polymer and a plurality of second liquid crystal molecules. The third electrode (80) is light-transparent. The first liquid crystal layer (40) is disposed between the first electrode (20) and the second electrode (50). The second liquid crystal layer (70) is disposed between the second electrode (50) and the third electrode (80). The first polymer forms a three-dimensional network structure in the first liquid crystal layer (40). The second polymer forms a three-dimensional network structure in the second liquid crystal layer (70).
