Abstract:
A liquid supply device and a refrigerator comprising the liquid supply device. The liquid supply device comprises: a liquid storage box (4); a liquid storage region (10) provided in the liquid storage box (4) and used for storing liquid supplied to an ice-making vessel (50); an auxiliary liquid storage region (20) provided in the liquid storage box (4) and located above the liquid storage region (10); a liquid supply pump (30), which is a non-positive-displacement pump and used for supplying the liquid stored in the liquid storage region (10) to the auxiliary liquid storage region (20); and a liquid supply pipe (40) having an inlet side opening provided in the auxiliary liquid storage region (20) and an outlet side opening provided on the upper side of the ice-making vessel (50). The auxiliary liquid storage region (20) is provided above the ice-making vessel (50), and by means of the liquid supply pump (30), the liquid supplied from the liquid storage region (10) to the auxiliary liquid storage region (20) flows downwards in the liquid supply pipe (40) under the action of gravity, and is thus supplied to the ice-making vessel (50). By means of such an arrangement, even if a pump that cannot reversely rotate is used as the liquid supply pump, the liquid can be supplied to the ice-making vessel in a clean state.
