Abstract:
This lithium-containing transition metal complex oxide comprises secondary particles in which primary particles that can be doped with lithium ions and de-doped are aggregated, and satisfies the conditions below. (1) The lithium-containing transition metal complex oxide is represented by formula (I). (I): Li[Lix(Ni(1–y–z–w)CoyMnzMw)1-x]O2. (2) When a specific γ is calculated for each of the surface of the secondary particles and the inside of the secondary particles from XPS analysis, γ1 and γ2 satisfy expression (II), where γ1 is the γ value of the surface of the secondary particles and γ2 is the γ value of the inside of the secondary particles. (II): 0.3 ≤ γ1/γ2 ≤ 1.0.
