Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/095883
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A lithium ion battery collector that is to contact an electrode active material at one principal surface inside a lithium ion battery. The lithium ion battery collector is characterized in that a surface layer is provided to the principal surface that is to contact the electrode active material, the surface layer having an uneven structure at a surface that is to contact the electrode active material, the uneven structure being either a plurality of recesses that comprise closed figures as seen from above, a network structure, or a pattern of recesses and protrusions that is provided in the outermost layer of the surface layer, the recesses being 10–45 μm deep and, as measured through the centroids thereof, 30–105 μm long at the shortest portions thereof, and, as seen from above, the recesses occupying 19%–61% of the surface of the collector in which the recesses are provided.
