Abstract:
A loading device (11) for loading a disk (22) by a slot system, comprising an insert/eject mechanism (30), a retreat mechanism (35), and a control section (40). The insert/eject mechanism (30) moves a disk inserted into a slot (21) up to a loading position. The retreat mechanism (35) moves the disk loaded at the loading position to a retreat position. When a new disk is inserted, the control section (40) drives the retreat mechanism (35) in order to move the disk loaded at the loading position to the retreat position, and drives the insert/eject mechanism (30) in order to move the new disk up to the loading position when movement to the retreat position is completed. Consequently, troublesomeness of disk loading procedure is eliminated.
