Abstract:
One pixel is composed of subpixels of red (R), green (G), blue (B) and at least one other color. A display panel is provided with at least two subpixels in a vertical scanning direction, and a color filter is formed corresponding to each subpixel. A driving device for the display panel is provided with a polarity reversal control section for performing polarity reversal drive in a horizontal scanning direction for every two dots and that in the vertical scanning direction for every two horizontal lines.
