Description:
LOCKING MECHANISM FOR TOP TRAILER DOORS

Technological Field:

The present invention relates to a locking mechanism for top trailer doors for opening and closing the side top covers of the semi-trailers, located at the rear of the conveying means.

Known State of the Technology:

There are trailers that are attached to the rear of semi-trailer vehicles such as trucks and trailers. The trailer, which is also known as the semi-trailer used in the transportation of different products in transportation, is attracted by attractive vehicles with various structures.

The side sheet front covers assembly located on the internet address, https://www.treylermarket.com/ur un/tirsan-yan-sac-on kapa -komplesi 76S-mm- boyasiz-sag the caps are manually opened and closed. Lots of these trailers, which are frequently encountered in the market, have difficulties in manual latching hook structures causing dirt and rust formation over time. Hooks are hammered with hammers, stone and they are tried to be put into place and broken by time.

In reference to utility model TR200806024“Construction of trailer rear door hinge system” is described. Invention; The trailer attached to the rear of the tow trucks, known as the trailer, used for road freight transport, relates to the hinges positioned at certain intervals to the side of said doors, which enable the doors to be opened and closed by connecting the doors on the saddle side plate on the rear side of said trailer.

In the aforementioned utility model application, the hinge system and the doors are opened and closed by connecting them on the trailer at certain intervals. But this connection is with the shaft. Over time, the hinge profile of dust, oil, etc. gathers and as a result of the accumulation of substances, it is difficult to return the shafts. The manual system forces the user and the large number of parts to be changed, increases the costs.

In the existing systems, the trailer covers have a manual locking system causes difficulties in loading and unloading processes and cause the process to prolong. The extension of the loading process increases costs.

As a result, there is a need for new technology which can overcome the aforementioned disadvantages, with auto-lockable latching doors, reducing the workload in transportation, eliminating the loss of time and enabling more efficient working.

Definition of the Invention:

The present invention is a locking mechanism for a trailer top cover capable of overcoming the aforementioned disadvantages; with its easy-to-open lock structure, it is a new, low-cost technology that reduces the workload in transportation, eliminates time loss and provides more efficient work.

The invention removes all disadvantages that meet the above mentioned requirements and provides additional advantages. The invention is made of unbreakable stainless materials. It is compatible with any cover level. The industrialists meet the needs of the transporters and manufacturers. It is designed to eliminate the problem of long and heavy loads.

The invention is a process of securing the hinges at certain intervals on the covers. Because of the lock mechanism placed on the top cover, it is provided to open and close the top caps easily by one hand.

In order to prevent the falling of the top cover onto the lower cover, the invention includes the shaft hidden in the trailer post. Because of this shaft, it ensures that the bottom cover and top cover remain constant when the covers are opened. The present invention also provides a means of opening and closing the lids on the trailer in order to prevent the articulation of the hinge structures due to the measurement errors. However, an aesthetic image is also obtained.

The invention features a more robust locking system with lighter and more durable materials. The strength calculations are taken into account in overloads. It is made of high quality and durable products. In terms of functionality of the invention, the area is also easy to use. It is also preferred because of its durability and has wide application area. The low number of parts constituting the invention and the ease of assemble to reduce the costs.

Description of the Invention:

The invention relates to a locking mechanism for the top cover of the tops (Kl), the top cover (K2), the hinge (1) and the trailer post (3). At least one attachment of connection ear (4) positioned on the upper cover (K2), the spring (5) associated with the connecting ear (4), the latch (6) associated with the spring (5) and the at least one piece positioned in the post of the trailer (3) from the shaft (7) (Figure-1, Figure-5, Figure-6). The invention has at least one housing (slot) (K2.1) located on the top cover (K2). The invention has a latch (6) positioned in the housing (K2.1) (Figure- 1, Figure-5, Figure-6). The invention has a shaft (7) with a tab (7.1) on it (Figure-3, Figure-9). The alternative embodiment of the invention comprises at least one hook (2) positioned on the top cover (K2). The alternative embodiment of the invention has the hook (2) positioned in the housing (K2.1) (Fig. 3, Fig. 4, Fig. 7).

Detailed Description of the Invention:

The components of the invention are basically; the shaft (7), the connection ear (4), the spring (5) and the latch (6) (Figure-5, Figure-6).

In the invention, when the upper cover (K2) is desired to open the lower cover (Kl), the operation is as follows. There is a latch (6) nested in the housing (K2.1) positioned on the top cover (K2). When the latch (6) is pressed downwardly, the latch (6) is moved downward by tensioning the spring (5) fixed to the connection ear (4). In this way, the lock inside the top cover (K2) is released. By means of the hinges (1) located between the lower cover (Kl) and the upper cover (K2), the top cover (K2) can be opened by rotating around the hinge (1) (Figure-5, Figure-7, Figure-8).

In the invention, when the top cover (K2) is closed and brought back to its original position, the shaft (7) is positioned inside the trailer post (3) in order to prevent the top cover (K2) from falling onto the bottom cover (Kl). The tab (7.1) on this shaft (7) is associated with the lower cover (Kl). The tab (7.1) is removed by pulling manually from the lower cover (Kl). When the tab (7.1) is pushed up by hand, the end of the shaft (7) is pulled from the lower cover (Kl) into the upper cover (K2) and the bottom cover (Kl) and the top cover (K2) remain constant (Figure-3, Figure -5, Figure-9).

The alternative embodiment of the invention is as follows; There is a hook (2) nested in the housing (K2.1) positioned on the top cover (K2). When the hook (2) is lowered downwards, the lock inside the top cover (K2) is released and released. By means of the hinges (1) located between the lower cover (Kl) and the upper cover (K2), the upper cover (K2) can be opened by rotating around the hinge (1) (Figure-5, Figure-6, Figure-
