Abstract:
The present invention facilitates adjustment of a state of a bending part and enables the adjusted state of the bending part to be easily and suitably maintained. In a forceps device 1, a shaft 4, a bendable bending part 6 connected to the distal end of the shaft 4, two operation lines that have a first end connected to the bending part 6 and transmit tensile force for bending or straightening the bending part 6; a proximal end pulley that is connected to a second end of the two operation lines and rotates about a predetermined axis to pull one of the operation lines and thus adjust the tensile force of the operations lines; and a bending operation unit 9 capable of controlling the bending of the bending unit 6 by rotating the proximal end pulley. The forceps device is configured so that when a user is not operating the bending operation unit 9, the rotation of the proximal end pulley is regulated to maintain the tensile force of the two operation lines by the proximal end pulley.
