Abstract:
A loop filtering method and device, and a video coding/decoding method, device and system. In a video coding/decoding process, a reconstructed image is input into a neural network for area-based loop filtering, i.e., dividing the reconstructed image into one or more first areas, determining filtering parameters on the basis of the first areas and performing loop filtering. When performing loop filtering based on a residual neural network, a global residual of the residual neural network can be scaled using a scale factor selected from N candidate scale factors, wherein N is greater than or equal to 1. Embodiments of the present disclosure further provide corresponding devices and systems. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, the flexibility of video coding/decoding can be increased, and the coding performance is improved.
