Abstract:

Disclosed is a low phase deviation digital-controlled radio frequency attenuator, being applied to the field of electronic circuit designs. The low phase deviation digital-controlled radio frequency attenuator comprises a small-amplitude attenuation module mainly composed of attenuator units, an interstage matching and biasing network mainly composed of a balun and a capacitor, a large-amplitude stepping module mainly composed of semiconductor array units and an output matching network mainly composed of transformers, wherein the interstage matching and biasing network further comprises a current source; and the output matching network matches an input end of a standard load or a post-stage circuit according to application requirements, and also can supply power to a power source of the large-amplitude stepping module. The present invention is applicable to CMOS processes, and is also applicable to other silicon-based semiconductor processes. In the present invention, the effect of a switch state of a transistor being undesirable is eliminated by means of a common-gate differential transistor; and the maximum attenuation range is expanded to 0-35.5 dB by means of digital signal control, and also an attenuation step of 0.5 dB is maintained, so that effects such as a large attenuation range, a high-amplitude control precision and a low additional phase deviation are achieved.
