Abstract:

A lubricant oil additive comprising a compound represented by general formula (1). (In general formula (1), R represents a hydrocarbon-containing group having at least one carbon atom; X1 represents a single bond, a -CONH- group, a -NHCO- group, a -NH- group, or a binding group which has 0 to 1 carbon atom, also has at least one hetero atom and does not have a hydrogen atom bound to the hetero atom; X2 represents a single bond, or a binding group which has 0 to 1 carbon atom, also has at least one hetero atom and does not have a hydrogen atom bound to the hetero atom; Z represents a -CN group, a -CO2CH3 group, or a group which has 0 to 6 carbon atoms and also has at least one hetero atom and a hydrogen atom bound to the hetero atom; a represents 0 or 1; b represents 1 or 2; c represents 0 or 1; and d represents an integer of 0 to 2, wherein Y represents a -CH2-group or a -OCH2CH2- group when d represents 1 or more.)
