Abstract:
Provided is a gas barrier laminate comprising a gas barrier material made by forming a gas barrier layer made from a polycarboxylic acid polymer on a plastic substrate, wherein the gas barrier layer is made from a polycarboxylic acid polymer containing 0.10 to 1.4 wt% of a monovalent metal element, 5.0 to 18.0 wt% of a polyvalent metal element, and 0.01 to 3.0 wt% of elemental nitrogen with respect to the total weight of nitrogen and carbon. As a result of this configuration, it becomes possible to directly extrusion-coat a thermoplastic resin onto the gas barrier material, and to provide a gas barrier laminate having outstanding gas barrier properties, plasticity and productivity.
