Title:
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/145414
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a lubricating oil composition that has excellent torque transmission power and speed-change characteristics, has an excellent property of preventing the wearing of wet friction materials, can keep the initial torque transmission power and speed-change characteristics over a long period of time, and is suitable as an oil for automatic transmissions and/or continuously variable transmissions. This lubricating oil composition is characterized by comprising, in a lubricating-oil base oil, (A) a fatty acid amide compound represented by formula (1), (B) a thiadiazole, and (C) a phosphorus-based additive, wherein: the sulfur content in the composition is at least 0.2 mass% in terms of sulfur atoms; the phosphorus content in the composition is at most 0.2 mass% in terms of phosphorus atoms; and the ratio of the mass percentage in terms of sulfur atoms to the mass percentage in terms of phosphorus atoms is from 3.0 to 5.0. (In formula (1): R1 represents a C10-30 alkyl group or alkenyl group; R2, R3, R5, and R6 represent hydrogen or a C1-3 alkyl group; R4 represents a C1-4 alkylene group; k is an integer from 0 to 6; m is an integer from 0 to 2; and n, p, and r are integers from 0 to 1.)
