Abstract:
The invention discloses a luminous display device, which is composed with a transparent upper member having upper and lower surfaces and a lower member having upper and lower surfaces. To form a predefined pattern, a groove is settled on the upper surface of the lower member. The lower surface of the upper member is fused with the upper surface of the lower member, thereby form a sealed discharge chamber between the groove and the upper member. The said discharge chamber is filled with ionizable gas. Two openings are mounted on the lower member, one end of each opening is communicated with the discharge chamber, and the other end is connected to an electrode. The said electrode is operatively connected to a power source for ionizing the gas in the chamber thereby producing the predefined pattern of discharge light.
